Anthony Musso has been working in the Addiction Recovery field for six years and received his Associates Degree in the Behavioral and Social Sciences from Santa Monica College with honors, his Bachelors of Science in Social Work from Mount Saint Mary's University with honors, and completed his addiction counseling coursework through UCLA, also with honors. Mr. Musso was motivated to work in the fields of addiction and mental health after personal experiences with tragedy, loss, and addiction that inspired him to help save lives in a new and different way: helping provide guidance and support for those that are suffering from addiction and mental health disorders. Mr. Musso brings a deep love and respect for Western and Eastern philosophy which he incorporates to his counseling style to assist clients in exploring issues of meaning making and purpose to help build motivation and assist clients in "creating a life they don't have to escape from". Anthony focuses on cultivating strong coping skills that draw not only from the evidence-based practices in the field of addiction but also by exploring connections with the different wisdom traditions of the world's major religious and philosophical systems.
